Tracey Thorn - Tinsel and Lights

雖然EBTG依舊復出無期，近年的Tracey Thorn反而穩定地有新碟推出。此時此刻聽聖誕歌可能有點過早，不過這張Tinsel and Lights也沒有很濃厚的佳節感覺，低調雅致的folk pop，偶然的些少programming，點點節日溫暖間仍滲著Tracey/Ebtg典型的寂寞憂鬱。至於選曲除較大路的"Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas"，Joni Mitchell的"River"之前也沒留意是首聖誕失戀歌，加入一段brass前奏更添一份贈興的無奈。另外還有Ron Sexsmith "Maybe This Christmas"、The White Stripes "In the Cold, Cold Night"、Sufjan Stevens "Sister Winter"這些更有型的選擇。而Tracey自己寫的兩首新曲"Joy"和"Tinsel and Lights"，淡然感性，跟碟內其他歌感覺也很一致。
